Unreasonably.. pretty cool concept but literally nobody is playing it. Nice game. Thx Spas!. This game is gonna be the next tiny thing. Bring your friends in for a good hour or two of breathless wild shootouts while you try to find out just how -many- options and techs this game has. It's a lot.. I dont know why you need to unlock stuff using credits? When you can't actually buy credits to support the developer why make it so that you need to earn it.Other than that, a great game to try. You know all of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ top-down shooter .IO games? Take those, add satasfying, fast and dynamic mobility, make it look good graphicaly, include great sound design, as well as unique and interesting weapons. While not too many people play the game, it certainly gives a great first impression. However, given the basic concept of games like these, I honestly cannot see it really going anywhere, and I probably will not play it consistantly for over a few days. Overall, I would most certainly recomend downloading this free game, and if you decide you like it, then maybe get the DLC to support wherever the hell spas takes the game.. So here's the review.1. There are some lags. No, I can't make a multiplayer game with netcode and whatever else myself.2. DLC has some cool stuff (i think i try to complain about it). There are a lot of features packed in one DLC. To make Steam Workshop work (the part with creating stuff, yes you can download it for free) TUNNEL DIVERS (I personally don't like full caps) players (the ones who publish maps) need to pay (price is reasonable though). Also DLC description says (as a joke) that players are "boring bland gray ships". [EDIT]Now looking at it, the paid DLC doesn't give "a leg up on any freemium players" and is what a good DLC should be. I won't even think about it if there was a DLC. It's great that it doesn't give any gameplay-related features that could be used everywhere. Level editor doesn't help you with anything which isn't level editor, colors don't help you with anything that isn't colors, server doesn't help with anything that isn't server creating. This (maybe) even is the best choice (comparing to EA game already having a gameplay-related DLC). p.s. i don't know what "tunnelling server" is, but i guess if the dev tries to make someone interested in buying the dlc by adding not-core feature, it's cool3. The pixellated font doesn't scale well with window sizes. (there was some stuff about graphic here, no it's ok)4? (if it's Early Access it means such things are to be balanced) If I'm too close to a panel I need to hack, it won't hack. If I don't target it with my field of view (was "mouse" instead of FOV), it doesn't hack. I'd like hacking to be 1 or 2 seconds faster. Laser rifle fires double shots from side cannons instead of only one and is too inaccurate because of it (well, if it's this weapon's style it's ok). If i move forwards and shoot, laster rifle shots are really slow relatively to me (this weapon's style?). They disappear way too quick (this weapon's style too? i guess we don't need a lot of sniper-like weapons). Getting quad damage is instant death to super computer(defence object) in a small team. The ability to dash in any direction with afterburners is not obivous for me. Ordinary movement is way too fast for me.5. I don't feel like some early test player (even if I am not), I feel like I'm playing some already-tested early version. I'd like Early Access players to be some type of testers and get cool stuff as normal testers (free DLC stuff for some time, no I don't know why I care so much about it). EDIT: Oops! *tries to think Early Access games are Early Access games*also using gamemaker is hard TUNNEL DIVERS v0.8.3 is now available: Dev Log. TUNNEL DIVERS v0.1.1 is now available: Dev Log. Get into the beta!: Want to play TUNNEL DIVERS before Early Access?. TUNNEL DIVERS will be released on July 6th: Hi! Here's a release date for you. Once the summer sale has passed, I'd like to release this game and call it finished for now.I have a few ideas for content updates, but I think the game is in a really good spot for release so I'd rather do that first before breaking something.I'm not expecting a huge rush of players, but it'd be certainly be cool to see one. I enjoyed making this game and I learned a lot, so whatever happens I'll be okay with it. I'm happy to just have 2 games on the market instead of just one, and it makes me feel a lot less like a one trick pony.Thank you all who have all helped test the game. I'm sorry Early Access wasn't exciting but you were a great help in any case.- S. Early Access + DLC Changes: Alright my dudes... we're on the homestretch.TUNNEL DIVERS Early Access will be available October 13th. Once Early Access is released, the DLC will NO longer be free. To use the map editor and other features, it will need to be purchased. There will be frequent free weekends following Early Access however. With that being said, there is good news about the DLC:I have merged both DLCs into one, so owning VIP Access will also give you the map editor. The Map editor only DLC is no more. However I also increased the price on the VIP DLC from 6 USD to 10 USD. Overall, thats still cheaper then the total of 12 USD you had to pay for both. Remember it is NOT pay to win like I promised, you have no obligation to buy it beyond supporting me and getting the features for it.Lastly, you can still apply for the beta and get the Beta ship pattern that will ONLY be available to those who played in the beta. If you haven't played the beta in a while, I'd start up the game now to make sure you have it. You don't need to unlock the pattern to have it available post-beta.You can get into the beta here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Q9Ic_m75z54apXOABPE8A7nd08TyE6yCt_tPZR3fPxI/edit#responsesThe beta application will stop taking emails Tuesday (Oct 10)Thanks for all the help dudes- S. TUNNEL DIVERS v0.8.0 is now available: Dev Log
